· Journal entries

· Cash flow forecasting and control

· Accounts payables and producing cheques

· Processing in-house payroll for 45 employees in two different companies

· Month-end and year-end close procedures

· Income statements and balance sheets

· Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries

· Cost accounting experience is considered an asset

· Oversight and audit of the transaction and financial operations of Les Abris Harnois

· Foreign bank accounts

· Credit card and bank reconciliations

· QST and payroll remittances

· Multi-company transactions – is there any money being transferred from Multisac to Les Abris Harnois, to headquarters etc.

· Filing corporate tax installments/payments

· Receiving payments and reconciling accounts

· Managing the collections process and preparing a weekly AR report

· Preparing bank deposits



The ideal candidate will have:

· Five to seven years’ experience in progressive accounting positions including experience as a lead accountant

· A Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree

· CPA designation or relevant education and experience, cost accountant is a plus

· Experience processing in-house payroll

· Experience working with a financial ERP system

· Fluently bilingual in French and English

· The ability to work in the Mutisac office in Saint-Laurent office four days per week and the Abris Harnois office in Saint-Thomas one day per week.
